About this painting: My parents live in a house in the woods of the Pacific Northwest where the trees stand tall, forest noises abound, fuschias grow wild and the hydrandeas age into giant bushes. It's quiet, cool, calm and magical. This painting is inspired by this place during summer when the woods beckon you to take a walk as the light streams through the forest canopy and your senses take over on a serene walk through nature.
