Refinished Antique Buffet
Truly one of a kind. This piece is solid wood with a gorgeous modern wood veneer overlay. Refinished by removing the dark stain (see blog for before pic!) by sanding and stripping, given a slight white wash with Benjamin Moore's White Dove, then sanded lightly again to blend and achieve a soft look (tones of terra cotta, mauve and grey). It is quite a showstopper. Finished with a matte wax, shelves and cabinets lined in a neutral print + new brushed brass hardware. This piece has been revived and is ready for its new home.
